1) Sedan –


Tesla Model S

Sedan is also known as Saloon in many countries.
This car is mainly a passenger vehicle having two rows of seats.
The cargo area which is also known as Boot or Trunk of the car is at the rear of the car.
Because their bottom or say lower portion is very close to road portion providing them better grip at road corners and turns.
Most of New buyers prefer these cars mainly because of its safety in handling, affordability in terms of price, fuel economy, performance.
The downside of this car is least storage capacity or say less space. Due to this the passenger may feel little inconvenience with legs or head.
Examples of Sedan electric car are Ora iq, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model 3 etc.

2) Hatchback -  


Nissan Leaf

This car does not have an extended trunk or boot, that is the main difference between Hatchback and Sedan design.
It is smaller than SUV and larger than Sedan.
Internal space can be made to prioritize passengers or cargo, it has 4 passenger
space.
It has top-hinged trunk with foldable rear seats that can fold down to create more space, so this can be a good choice for those who need both things.
Examples of Hatchback electric cars are Mahindra e20 plus, Nissan leaf, BMW i3, Ora R1, Hyundai kona.

3) SUV –


Jaguar-i Pace

SUV stands for Sports Utility Vehicle and is a large size car.
They are designed to go mainly over rough surfaces or off roads.
It can accommodate 5-7 passengers.
It prioritizes size and comfort and it can provide more luxurious and adventurous ride station wagons or minivans.
These are mostly preferred by  middle aged rich family peoples, Dad’s basically because of its masculine and robust design or look.
